To Photograph a Horse

To photograph the Horse you must be able to capture its spirit in one brief fleeting moment. If you hesitate; it will be gone never to be again.

You must capture their strength and beauty that they hold simultaneously. Make their movements so graceful that you believe they could fly.

Through your photo the viewer will hear the thunder of their hooves as they race for freedom. They will feel the horse's breath as they say nothing and everything with every inhale and exhale.

You must be able to capture a teacher, who if you are willing to listen will teach you about life, kindness, forgiveness, patience and compassion for living.

If you can do all of this, you will have captured the soul of the horse forever.
